You can text chat with us live from the web and IRC. If you join us in chat, be sure to wait a bit before leaving. Many of us “idle” in the chat room, only viewing it periodically. You’ve a greater chance of getting someone’s attention, if you type their chat handle out. Most of us have chat clients that will give us a beep and a flash on screen when someone is addressing us directly.

To chat from the web you have two options. You can enter live chat right from this site or you can open a new tab if you prefer a larger experience.

You can also pick an IRC client for your operating system. Once you’ve downloaded it, follow the instructions for installing and then set up a user with the following settings:

Nickname:Anything of your choice.
Server irc.mibbit.com
IRC Channel (or Chat room) #add1.to
